ATC with Brent Morgan
Description
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be an air traffic controller in a war zone? Controlling multiple runways with drones, fighters, and bombers while under enemy mortar fire?
Well, that's what Brent Morgan did in the Air Force. He was an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in the United States Air Force, deployed to Balad, Iraq, and worked at several different USAF bases in the States before continuing his career in the civilian sector in the same job. This week he joins me to discuss what it's like to be ATC, how he got interested in aviation, why he thinks ATC is one of the best careers in the Air Force (even though he's obviously biased) as well as telling some really funny stories. All that and much much more, all right here on The Aeronut Podcast.
