Adsmore ‘Jazz on the Lawn’ This Sunday

Unwind this weekend as the Adsmore Museum grounds transform into a stage for “Jazz on the Lawn,” where the community is invited to enjoy vibrant live music and the warm spirit of western Kentucky.
Adsmore Administrator Wayne Yates says the event is set for this Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4.
click to download audioJazz West, a quartet with strong ties to western Kentucky and a passion for jazz, has been performing together for four years. The group has appeared at a variety of public and private events across the region, including the popular “Sunset Jazz” concert in Bowling Green.
Jazz West features Jim Long on tenor sax, Ryan Jones on piano, Wayne Pope on bass and vocals, and Dean Hughes on drums, with special guest vocalist Beth Pope, who all share a passion for jazz and a commitment to preserving its rich tradition.
Bring a lawn chair, relax, and let Jazz West fill your Sunday afternoon with the smooth rhythms and rich melodies that celebrate the heart of Kentucky’s jazz tradition.
