In this episode of RADIO CREATORS Steve Randall is joined by Keri Jones from Alfred, an all-speech community radio station for Shaftesbury in Dorset (famous among other things for Gold Hill as used in the classic Hovis ads!).

Keri has taken a 'non-radio' approach to the station, which started as a podcast and now broadcasts on FM and online. With a small team of volunteers and assisted by AI (used carefully and ethically) Keri has created a hyper-local station providing news and information for a geographical area that is strictly adhered to.
