Amelia McFall has been actively involved in London’s music scene since her arrival from Montreal in 2018. With a background firmly rooted in Jazz, Blues, old Soul, Folk and Gospel, McFall’s music captures the essence of storytelling. Her latest single I Still Do follows the release of Flutter, April 2024 and establishes a solid base for her upcoming EP slated for release Fall 2024.Listen to Flutter here.

Written and inspired by personal experience, I Still Do explores the sentiment and feelings attributed to the age-old topic of unattainable love. Her confessional lyrics are counteracted

with ascending, Gospel inspired progressions, adding an element of hopefulness. Recorded as a live take with Brian Love on guitar, I Still Do was engineered and produced at

Octagon Studios, London by Alex Hollingsworth.

A graduate of Concordia University’s Jazz program, Amelia developed her unique vocal style while studying under Jeri Brown and performing in Montreal’s Jazz and Blues venues, including

Upstairs, Le Balcon, and Oscar Peterson Concert Hall. Amelia’s recorded work reflects her live performances as closely as possible; intimate and powerful. When writing, she not only envisions her music being performed for audiences, but also as an accompanying soundtrack and backdrop for film and television.

McFall’s songwriting and lyrics are unguardedly open and heartfelt, often exploring melancholic and nostalgic scenes that resonate deeply with audiences. Her versatile voice integrates

elements from Blues to Jazz to Country, creating a rich depth to her soulful melodies.

included special guest appearances with Ty Taylor and Vintage Trouble at Electric Brixton, as well as opening slots for McNasty’s Fireball Sessions, Jessie Malcolm at the Sheriff Centre, I.Am.Afiya at The

Waiting Room, and Blakey’s Headline Show at the Hackney Social.
