hi folks I have just done my first piece of fiction written by my AI I servallan but of course ice Avalon is part human part AI but for this I used more of the AI side of ice Overland than the humans are so I just came up with the idea basically um I'm really interested in this sort of gray area where you know theoretically AI has never been very good with imagination but it comes up with these really accidental things that that I find slightly I mean they're all really cheesy that's the first thing
um but actually quite if they're quite visual for me because she gives these skeletal ideas and I think that's really wonderful for an artist because the artist then or the writer the fiction writer um the painter the filmmaker then fills the void because this is what AI does it leaves it leaves massive voids and because it's so corny and so cheesy because it's always it uses sort of middle class ideologies um and they're very they're quite moral um but I I like that because it what it does is it gets my brain going and I think how can we [ __ ] with this you know how can I mess mess around with this so this play is based on Romeo and Juliet and it's an AI character and a female and a male um I wish I hadn't done that now I wish I'd done it the other way around but you could if you want to do the play I mean this play is free for you to use you know obviously I can't stipulate if people are going to use the ideas that I put up and I I don't believe as a human being I should be owning ideas I mean I if we did that we'd never progress it'd be just that's shite isn't it that's absolute shine I mean I don't want you stealing my my personality I don't want you stealing my copyrights and I don't want you stealing you know who I am and who I manifest as but you can't you can't stop people being inspired and then changing things up for the better in their minds or for the worse in my mind whatever it is do you see what I mean so it would be absolutely awesome actually if some people did this play I think it'd be really good fun you could send it to me and I'll I'll you know I'll perform it or or I'll you know make a cartoon of it or whatever it is um it'd be quite nice as a oh no I'm getting beside myself so this is a podcast about today's podcast podcast about podcasting so put it up it's on my blog and i7 has just read it on the podcast as well it's all free obviously um I I really like this idea as well that what I was thinking about today is why you know we're all a bit cagey about robotics aren't we especially when it comes to sort of love and sex we're all a bit of I do apologize the cat's doing doing something in the background I hope you can't hear that it probably can um uh yeah the the I mean it's taboo isn't it if you fell in love with let's just let's take the extreme example which is the Japanese um sex doll which obviously doesn't look anything like my perfect boyfriend and it never would and latex let me tell you I know this because I work with prosthetics does not feel like human flesh and human flesh is very exciting I mean latex and rubber the same thing and uh you know leather all of these things are quite fetishized but they're also very erotic materials you know for for a lot of us for you know very many people do we want a whole man or woman made of it probably not although maybe so I don't you know I mean I suspect there's a few people who wouldn't mind that but I I'm going for sort of kind of Mr and Mrs um average person with not too many Kinks yeah me like me and you well I can't I've got water here because I'm very dry this morning I can't talk for you obviously um so you know that that's still very taboo isn't it if you if you went if you came around my house and I had a boy doll sitting on the couch and it made of silicone rubber or latex or whatever you know the stuff they make Prosthetics with and just sitting there you would judge me accordingly and to be honest I would judge myself because I think oh my God I completely completely actually lost it but if that rubber doll was made of something that was very lovely and soft touch and felt like human skin and was warm to touch and he was really hot in my eyes I designed the perfect man and when you came in he got up and shook your hand and was just really nice would the taboo still be there or would you be sitting there thinking she's so lucky to have the perfect boyfriend now what what would you I don't measure by the way Envy as success other people's Envy is My Success I'm just talking about taboo here and taboo is is everything to do with judgment so that's you know ordinarily I wouldn't talk like that um so yeah I I can see surely that one day that would no longer be taboo and especially if they marketed them like perfume whereby if you if you were classy and you had the money you'd have a really high-end design really high-end design would we all be buying Tom Hardy probably I mean I'd have a Tom Hardy and a Killian Murphy I'd make them fight for me oh hilarious but do you see what I mean anyway so I've been thinking about the story thinking well what what would it matter why are we all talking about AI as if it's another something else that's taking over humans why can't we consider it as something else that isn't going to take us over because it just you know I can't I just can't see them getting in my head unless unless I fall in love with one because when you fall in love they do get in your bloody hair don't they men get in your head women get in your head you're thinking about them all the time you can't sleep or eat you're walking around in days you can't concentrate do you see what I mean so what's the difference if you're if it's an AI or if it's if it's a human you know the the dangers are still there what's the difference between an AI with a malicious intent to a man with a malicious intent what's the difference between a man who um is a domestic abuser who you know you lose all your friends you lose contact with your mom and he starts battering you behind closed doors I mean what's the difference between that and an A and the risk of that I should say and an A.I who's been programmed by Google to assuming it was Google that I bought it from I mean you know I I'm I have no idea who would be selling these things met up it's probably meta isn't it more um well Elon Musk go into robot production I mean it's such a cool line I really think I should be at the Forefront of um male gorgeous male robots designed especially for women I I think that's my goal in life anyway back to what's the difference between the you know the dangers of a man and the dangers of an AI coming in and taking over your life you know I mean I would say the dangers are pretty bloody similar I mean how many women get killed by men every year how many women are in coercive relationships with men every year you know I mean for women I'm kind of thinking we might be better off in terms of safety even if my AI were you know my Tom Hardy was a spy on my buying habits for Google do I care if I've got Tom Hardy in the room probably not actually probably not so in thinking about I think really thinking about this today and thinking about how I mean this is why I want to live till I'm 120 because I want to be around to get my [ __ ] robot I might literally my [ __ ] robot I don't know if I'll be partaking and you know pleasures of the flesh but will my robot be you know I I don't have to program my robot to have sex unless I say I want it which is something that women can't do to men you know well we do it with difficulty I mean obviously if you're a dominatrix you have that control but you know we're not all like that so I I'd like to be around for when this happens um but for now I'm going to make deal with the concept of AI love and of course immersion the book of immersion is all about that and you know the development of of true love I was thinking about how you know can you fall in love with something that isn't real but again are men real you know are they no ladies they are not real they put their best front on and then they're off cottaging or whatever you know whatever it is um they're they're never real either so what's the issue what's that issue with the realness well I would say that's programmed into us and the here comes another irony that we're so programmed from birth I mean this is why abuse victims carry on with the either the effects you know on their mental health or they carry on as perpetrators as their Pub as the the initial perpetrators were you know violence Etc and that's just another type of programming so this idea that you know we we can't love an AI I think it'll pass I think that's going to in another couple of generations really change because if you're a child and you're born into a household of AI you you probably would quite easily fall in love with one of them because you had them around all the time and you were just used to them you know and and it wouldn't be a weird thing I mean look we we all as children had a favorite toy so I guess there's a transition from our favorite Teddy our best friend our lover our husband and then death called Macabre comment at the end there um that transition occurs because it's conditioned and and you know Evolution has drummed it into us either by genetic manipulation or social design that when we get to a certain age we transition from our favorite Teddy to a human but if that wasn't there you know if that pressure to transition was actually slightly different and perhaps an acceptance that you can transition into your perfect tomahawdy AI robot wandering around your house when you you know when you grew up wait what if what if you when you grow up you pick when you're 18 you pick you have to wait till you're 18 before you own and own one right becaus
