Description

We are in the middle of a discussion on the book of Esdras as we address the christian concept of the rapture. Often christians use the scripture in Matthew 24, where it mentions two being in the field, one being taken and the other being left. Christians assert that the scripture is a reference to the rapture. A striking parallel scripture can be found in 2nd Esdras chapter 13. In this chapter students of scripture can get more details regarding those who were "taken" and "those who were left".
