Another great example of how important the culture of the Hebrews were. The customs given to them by the Most High, were not only laws to keep order, but they were prophetic in nature. The blowing of the trump, in the ancient Israelite culture, was always connected to an alarm or an assembly. Understanding this put's John's Revelation in proper perspect. Once you grasp the role of trumpets in the feasts and the gathering of the assembly, then and only then will you understand the prophecy in the book of Revelation. This is why we keep the law and meditate in it; because it is a "Light unto my feet and a lamp unto my path".
