Apple releases another limited-edition designer iPhone accessory
Description
Apple is celebrating its 40th anniversary of accessibility, and to commemorate it, the company has released a special iPhone grip. The Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand is a phone grip that attaches through MagSafe and is available in the online Apple Store (U.S. only) for $70.
In an interview with Elle Decor, designer Bailey Hikawa came up with the design after interviewing iPhone users with varying disabilities. The design allows the grip to be held in different ways, and it can also be used as a stand. The product is made of “soft-touch premium silicone” and is available in Chartreuse (lime green) and Crater (marbled gray). Hikawa is known for her sculptural iPhone cases and unique toilet seats.

“This is one of many accessories that are out there that solve unique problems for some people.” Apple’s Sarah Herrlinger said to Elle Decor.
Like the iPhone Pocket released last week, the Hikawa Phone Grip & Stand is listed as a “Limited Edition” item, which implies that there’s a set number of these that were made. The iPhone Pocket sold out incredibly quickly, so if you’re interested, grab one before it’s gone.
