Description

In this seminar Dr. DeWeese presents the first approach to Environmental Ethics: a minimalistic ethic. He defines it as one stating that people need not be concerned about principles on how to interact with the world and he explains why this approach opposes the Bible. Dr. DeWeese explains non-cognitivism, subjectivism and objectivism as examples of a minimalistic ethic. This weekend seminar on Environmental Ethics is given by Dr. Garry DeWeese, professor of Philosophy in Religion and Ethics at Talbot School of Theology.
