Dr. Rituparna Patgiri teaches Sociology at the Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, and holds a PhD in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She is also one of the co-founders of Doing Sociology, an independent, women-led academic blog dedicated to promoting sociological content. Her areas of research interest include food, gender, culture, media, and the public.
