This week, we’ve been looking at why we should teach our kids evolution. One: They’ll run into it eventually and they need a firm foundation in truth. And two: They have to know it to show why it’s wrong! And here’s a third reason:



If you don’t know what the other side believes, you’ll probably end up using some bad arguments. For example, some Christians argue, “If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes around?” Well, evolutionists believe we evolved from apelike ancestors, and apes are our cousins. So this is a bad argument.



Knowing what evolution teaches will certainly help us avoid mistakes like these.
