The March 2026 contract opened at 14.4 cents per pound and closed slightly lower at 14.34. May and July contracts for next year also showed minor dips. Most near-term contracts ranged between 13.8 and 14.4 cents per pound, while further contracts like March 2027 and 2028 ticked over 15 cents. Trading volume was around 44,000 contracts, lower than Thursday's 109,000. Despite the slight price shifts, sugar prices remained stable.
