NBC News sports reporter Andrew Greif joins the program to discuss his new book "Beyond Fast". The book is about how a high school coach revolutionized distance running. The coach went through plenty of obstacles, and Greif talks about some of the obstacles from the book. Greif is a former Oregon athlete, and he talks about if growing up in Coos Bay, Oregon, helped shape his life. Greif talks about race inside a locker room and how it plays a role, if any, for players in the professional leagues. Portland State head football coach Bruce Barnum joins the program to discuss the loss to Tarleton State in week 0 of the college football season. Barnum talks about what he did wrong in the blowout loss in week 0, but vouches that he will be better going forward. Barnum discusses how it's challenging to keep your team together when playing against exceptionally strong teams and suffering losses. Barnum mentions how much money they are getting for playing against BYU and compares the Cougars to the Oregon Ducks. Punch it audio, the 5 at 5, and much more!
