This bonus episode was recorded in Nashville with Wilson McCoy, who received his doctoral degree in intergenerational ministry in 2016, and has been working in the intergenerational space for almost 10 years.

Some of the topics discussed were:

• His very Australian experience with local bird life whilst living 'Down Under'.


• The intergenerational reading of Scripture.


• The importance of conferences and other learning opportunities.


• Helping people to see that intergenerational ministry is complimentary, and not in competition with age based ministry.


• Bridging the gap between theory and practice in ministry.

•  InterGenerate: Transforming Churches through Intergenerational Ministry, the book based on the 2017 InterGenerate conference.


• Engage All Generations: A Strategic Toolkit for Creating Intergenerational Faith Communities, the book based on the 2019 conference. 

Dr. Wilson McCoy (M.Div., D.Min.) currently lives in Lebanon, Tennessee where he serves as Associate Minister at the College Hills Church of Christ. He also served churches in Tennessee, Texas, and Australia before arriving at this congregation. Over the last decade with his current church he has served in young adult ministry, small groups, adult education, and preaching. He has also worked to create more of an intergenerational emphasis in the life of this congregation.
