Description

Peter Stilwell is a Canadian pain researcher who currently holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Southern Denmark. He is also an Affiliate Member at McGill University in the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences - School of Physical & Occupational Therapy. He has published articles in leading journals in the areas of pain, qualitative methods, philosophy, and medical humanities.

He is well-known for his research on an enactive approach to pain. In today's episode, we discuss how the biopsychosocial model is lost in translation, why pain isn't just in the brain, a model for thinking about pain you may not be aware of, and much, much more. Enjoy.
