Despite his brief stint in a Friesen Performance IMCA Modified, Austin Rognlin has already made a name for himself in the Shaw Race Cars Western Region. His journey, which began in late 2021, has been nothing short of eventful. He secured a major win at his home track, Grays Harbor Raceway, ventured to the IMCA TV Winter Nationals, and engaged in intense battles at Skagit Speedway's Survive The 55, among other experiences.  In this feature, we explore his racing journey, from his decision to start racing to the significance of his #81R, and the diverse outdoor activities that his region offers.
