In this episode I get to chat with my longtime friend, Liz Allen. Liz and I go way back, from her working with me at the Marina, to me coaching her, to me bartending at her wedding. And now Liz, a mother of two who lives in Saskatchewan with her husband Pete, is extremely passionate about sharing her birth stories. She wants other women to know that they have options, and that as much as your birth may not go exactly as planned, you still have a say in it. My favourite quote that Liz said was, "There's always your choice and your voice." And I think that can be related to anything in our lives.
