Dr. Joseph Chen attended Purdue University and has a Phd in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and has now been teaching at Purdue University for over 11 years. He has been unanimously awarded the Distinguished Faculty for Research award for his commitment to his students and is very well known for his popular Chenflix series where he is able to teach math in a very engaging and interesting format for students. In this episode, Chen details his journey to becoming a professor, provides advice for passionate students, and gives an overview of the research he has performed regarding space travel.
