On today’s episode, we chat with Marcus Lannie. Marcus graduated this past spring from Purdue university with a degree in mechanical engineering. This coming year Marcus will be pursuing his Master’s in ME with a concentration in Product Design from UC Berkeley. During his time at Purdue, Marcus Lannie grew the purdue ASME organization from 10 to 300 members, was receipt of the Purdue Engineering fellows award, the highest engineering honor at Purdue, and recently received the 2022 ASME Charles T. Main Student Section Leadership Gold Medal. On this episode, we discuss the upbringing of Purdue ASME, how Marcus was able to ignite such growth, and the key focus points that can help other organizations achieve such growth.
