Brent Jones, a San Jose native and Santa Clara University alumnus, was inducted into the Edward J. DeBartolo Senior San Francisco Forty-Niners Hall of Fame during a halftime ceremony. Jones, who started his NFL journey with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Forty-Niners, achieved remarkable success during his eleven-year career with the team. He earned four Pro Bowl selections, two All-Pro honors, and was a key part of three Super Bowl championship teams. Jones career statistics place him third among tight ends in franchise history for receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He was visibly moved during the induction ceremony, surrounded by family, friends, and former teammates, as Hall of Famer and former teammate Jerry Rice introduced him.
