The San Francisco Forty-Niners have placed wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk on the reserve-left squad list, effectively ending his season and potentially his tenure with the team. Aiyuk, who was injured in Week Seven, has not been seen by the team for about a month, leading to his departure. Despite signing Aiyuk to a four-year, $120 million deal last offseason, the team has shown confidence in their current receiving corps and is not planning on Aiyuks return.
