Description

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened this morning to throw open Turkey’s borders with the EU to hundreds of thousands of migrants. The threat follows a vote by the European Parliament at their plenary session in Strasbourg this week to suspend accession talks between the EU and Turkey. On the sidelines of the session, David Davis, UK Brexit Secretary made his first trip to Strasbourg. Our Europe Correspondent, Damian Grammaticas, reports from there. Produced by Larissa Kennelly, broadcast on Radio 4's Today in Parliament on Nov 25th 2016.
