Luc Miles has always had a particular approach to music. During his adolescence, he was drawn to afro, hip-hop, and R&B, from classics to new releases. His musical curiosity grew until he was captivated by electronic music. Seduced by club culture and the dark, hypnotic sounds of minimal, he began experimenting with production to develop his own style. What started as a hobby in his final years of high school soon evolved into a serious creative pursuit.

In the studio, Luc is meticulous and a perfectionist, selecting ethnic and sensual melodies filtered through the rhythm and energy of house and techno. Congas, maracas, and detailed percussion bring warmth to his full-bodied basslines, as he aims to connect electronic sounds with the organic tones of jazz and world music. His recent release Just A Memory on Cadenza captures this approach—a deep blend of rhythm, melody, and emotion. His one-hour mix for Cadenza Radio follows that same path, exploring the connection between movement and feeling through sound.
