Welcome to episode 19.
Today, I offer a lovely rant about works-based salvation, confusing teachings, bad doctrine, and self-righteous waywardness. This little ditty was inspired by my deep dive into spiritual warfare and also witnessing a friend in the midst of a faith crisis that threatened to tear them from the safety of The Kingdom, all because they fell for bad theology and false teachers. I’ve been challenged with coming face-to-face with a very real threat to newly saved Christians: trusting man over God and putting faith in works rather than faith in Christ.

If you have struggled as a new Christian with the anxiety of not living up to Christian standards, you will appreciate this one. 

“Man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ; … For by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified” Galatians 2:16
