This is my story about how turning my health issues over to big Medicine and big Pharma had real repercussions, like how oral birth control made me a literal crazy person. I go into detail about how  the side effects of birth control made me emotionally unstable, how it affected my relationships, how this led me to being on a cocktail of mood stabilizers that numbed me out so completely that I consented to marrying a complete narcissist and utterly imploded my life  in a state of emotional indifference . I reveal my shameful behavior that was sparked by uncontrollable irrational jealousy and the project  I used to cope with that shame once I came to my senses. I take you on a ride through some of the 44 pages of the package insert of this particular birth control pill, shining a spotlight on the scary dangers of the pill, something that no doctor or pharmacist ever offered to disclose to me or anyone I knew taking the same pills. I try to do all of this with an air of dark humor, in an attempt to keep it on the lighter side, complete with a side dish of awkwardly  laughing at myself.
