The Chicago Blackhawks played an EXCELLENT 2nd period against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden Monday night, and held on in the 3rd period for a solid 2-1 win. Just the second win for Arvid Söderblom this season. The Hawks got a 1st period goal from Tyler Bertuzzi (6) and a 2nd period goal from Taylor Hall (6.) Connor Bedard picked up his team-leading 16th assist of the season on Hall's goal at 6:16 in the 2nd. It's also the first win for a Swedish-born NHL head coach (Anders Sörensen) in NHL history.
