Climate change is the now the all-purpose explanation for every weather event.  Indeed, climate change is now being cited to explain social or political developments like immigration, racism, riots, gender wars, and more. But there's a problem: climate change cannot and has not been proven, despite the breathless online statements of influencers, media anchors, or politicians that it is The existential threat to humanity.  But human beings cannot predict the climate years hence. Human beings cannot control the weather. Human beings can affect the environment, but they cannot change or destroy it. Weather events always were, are, and always will be. Another challenge to the climate change anxiety agitators is that their solutions don't work--fossil fuel has produced prosperity not the end of the world, wind and solar are inefficient and unreliable, and all the while, the environmental crowd ignores the genuine potential of safe, clean, inexpensive, efficient nuclear energy. From a conservative or Christian perspective, one should be aware of how thoroughly climate change activism is now identified with globalist, totalitarian, leftist groups and initiatives.
