The Start Up Support Surgery is a podcast to inspire medics and healthcare professionals who want to take their medical skills, passions or interests and start a business or side hustle alongside their busy day job and family life which creates flexibility and freedom along with a completely different way of helping people outside of the limitations we are all facing in the NHS today.
Getting started in business is not easy. It is a huge learning curve and offers a rollercoaster of emotions along the way. As a doctor who has been learning about business over the last 20 years alongside my career as a portfolio GP it is a huge honour and privilege to be able to share with you my insights along with interviews with experts and case studies from other medics and healthcare professionals that I have worked with over the last few years.
