Todays trading on the Chicago Board of Trade showed mixed results across commodities. Corn futures declined, with most December 2025-2026 contracts closing lower. Soybean futures saw a slight dip in the December 2025 contract, but gains in later contracts. Wheat futures consistently dropped, with the March 2026 contract falling by 2.75 cents. Crude oil futures also faced losses, with the December 2025 contract dropping by 52 cents. Live cattle futures saw most contracts close lower, with the December 2025 contract down by 20 cents. Despite the price drops, live cattle saw substantial trading at 55,162 contracts.
