Today on the show, we welcome Palestinian American comedian, speaker, writer, and academic Amer Zahr. Drawing on his experiences growing up as a child of Palestinian refugees, Amer’s lecturing and sold out comedy tours, globally, cover topics that include politics, culture, identity, and in order shed light on the occupation. He is also the author of the popular blog “The Civil Arab,” and the author of his first book “Being Palestinian Makes Me Smile.”
