Introducing Chef Christian Barruos-Brens, a rising star at just 19 years old. He’s a dedicated student at Miami Dade College’s Miami Culinary Institute, located at the Wolfson Campus, making remarkable strides in both academics and the culinary world. As a member of the second cohort of the Rising Scholars Program, he’s been actively pursuing his academic dreams while simultaneously serving as the CEO of two thriving catering companies. His journey has not only graced the front cover of the Miami Dade College newspaper but also inspired approximately 5000 students in South Florida. Beyond the classroom, you’ll find him on Roku, demonstrating his culinary prowess in cooking TV show competitions and contributing as a behind-the-scenes chef in a series on Univision. Recently, he’s partnered with Goya and Univision for an exciting show. Christian’s remarkable impact extends to philanthropy, as he dedicates himself to supporting and donating to those in need throughout South Florida.
