Description
Beyoncé has officially ascended to her throne as Queen of the Grammys, as she received 11 nominations on Friday, making her the most-nominated artist of all time, with 99 total. Her husband Jay-Z is second with 89, followed by Paul McCartney with 84. The late Quincy Jones is 4th with 80.
100-year-old Jimmy Carter has become the oldest Grammy nominee ever, with a nod for his spoken-word album, "Last Sundays in Plains: A Centennial Celebration". Obviously, if he wins, that'll be a record too.
Sabrina Carpenter played the Chase Center in San Fransisco on Saturday night, a woman in the pit allegedly squatted and URINATED right on the floor, Exorcist style. So far, no one has posted video of the actual deed, but there IS a video of people standing around the wet floor where it supposedly happened. And it cuts to pictures of people holding up their phones, with the message "I Got Peed on in the Pit to See Sabrina Carpenter" on them in block letters.
Jerry Cantrell called music streaming a "bad business" model for any musician trying earn a living.·
Dave Grohl isn't the only one who doesn't think Taylor Swift sings live. A British singer named Fil Henley (who was also on X Factor many years ago) analyzed the audio from several shows on the Eras Tour, and he's convinced of it, too.
Metallica, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Blink-182 are up for Rock Tour of the Year and U2 are up for Residency of the Year at the 36th annual Pollstar Awards. The awards will be handed out on February 19th in Los Angeles.TV
