Description

On this episode of Role Call with Chief Brian Dugan, special guest Sergeant Pat Voit shares information on how his Cyber Crimes Unit works to keep kids safe on the internet, and apprehend those who look to harm children with technology. Sergeant Voit talks about cases worked by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and provides some tips for parents, and kids, to keep in mind.

While having a discussion with children on internet safety may be difficult for some parents, it is necessary. For resources and tips for parents and kids, visit NCMEC’s NetSmartz website or the ICAC Task Force website.

You can report suspicion of child sexual exploitation to your local police, your ICAC Task Force or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Cyber Tipline (1-800-843-5678).
