I totally agree, the songs let it down. They were fine, but there weren't any emotional/euphoric bangers. The only one I remember, having watched it 10-11 days ago, is the one of the doomed soldiers writing their last letters to loved ones. That's beautiful, and the mix of the dirge singers with the military drums is very evocative. I can't remember the other songs though.. They weren't bad, but they weren't great. It's a shame because there's some much that's wonderful in the film
