2 Timothy 1:9 (NLT) - “For God saved us and called us to live a holy life.”

As Paul writes to his spiritual son Timothy, he reminds him, and us, of two simple truths: God saved us, and God called us to live a holy life.

Holiness isn’t old-fashioned, it’s our calling. We weren’t saved to live in compromise or sin, but to live set apart for God. Remember today: you are not free to sin, you are free from sin.
