1. When we said the Apostles’ Creed, what does it mean “he descended to hell” then after 3, rose to heaven? Is it just symbolic? Jesus told the thief that he would be with him today in paradise, and Jesus wasn’t a prisoner of hell, so why do we say that he descended into hell?
