Virtually all fats and oils contain some combination of polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, and saturated fatty acids. They tend to be referred to as one of these types based upon which kind of fatty acid is the predominate one.
These are the most common types of oils on the market today: Olive, Coconut, Canola, Peanut, Palm, Walnut, Safflower, Palm Kernel, Avocado, Almond, Cottonseed, Rice Bran, Sesame, and flaxseed.
