More often than not, a confession is associated with something not-so-good. But, theologians describe Psalm 27 as a “confession of trust.” In the midst of attacks and persecution …. David confesses what is true about God to get him through the hard times. The Lord is my light and my salvation. The Lord is my stronghold – who holds me close in hard times. In the face of your circumstances, what do you have to confess about your good, gracious, loving, compassionate, all-powerful God?
