E97 - WHAT A HYPOCRITE! - HOW A PRAYER FOR KIDS BECAME A PRAYER FOR ME
Description
Have you ever wished and prayed your kids would do or wouldn't do certain things? But when we really look in the mirror - where did they learn that?
Maybe instead of praying FOR them, we pray for US so that they have someone to set the example.
My niece and nephew are the kids in my life.
I always say a prayer for them - but (once again) through walking, I came up with a question to myself...
If you want these things for the kids - why don't you just do those things, become their mirror, their example, and teach them how to do that?
DUH! Why didn't I think of that before?
Listen today to hear what the prayer is (and if you don't pray, think of this as a meditation/focus practice instead) because I promise you, you can take something from it.
Instead of feeling hypocritical on everything we want our kids to do/ to be - why don't we just focus on being that guy so that then they have an example and someone to mirror?
