The EFF has tabled a motion in Parliament for an Ad Hoc Committee, in terms of Rule 253(1)(a), to investigate the "senseless killings" affecting communities in the Western Cape, especially those living on the Cape Flats where residents are "under siege" from gang-related violence that disrupts everyday life and leaves people living in fear.
