Description
Lily became involved with the Service User and Carer Council at Edge Hill University after being diagnosed with Von Hippel Lindau Syndrome (VHL). Her diagnosis has included long in-patient stays in hospital and requires screening referral for the rest of her life.
In sharing her experiences of health and social care systems she is making a positive contribution to the training of the health care workers of tomorrow.
