T1D is a lifetime commitment that requires more attention than we really want to give it. But what if your diabetes experience could be used as motivation to notice the effects that your thought choices can have on your emotions, your blood glucose, and even your relationships? Learning to purposely “think about your thinking” will enable you to kick-start your life into new positives and higher perspectives. In our next Huddle, you will be introduced to thought strategies that will help you to be more solution oriented rather than problem focused in your T1D management.
