EP180: Kallup McCoy on Turning Addiction into a Purposeful Life
Description
Kallup McCoy is an endurance athlete, fitness coach, and a key part of a non-profit organization. His running journey began when he decided to run from Cherokee, North Carolina to Oklahoma. Since then, he has competed in several marathons and helped coach others to similar results.
However, his life was not always full of impact. At 11 years old, Kallup got hooked on drugs for the first time. For many years, he experimented with and got hooked on many kinds of drugs. Despite overdose and losing his father to cancer, life was not changing.
Kallup was in jail for a few months when his life began to change. He saw life from a new lens, sought out God and did incredible personal development work to get on the right track.
Today he has an amazing story to share, impacts so many people and is a light in the lives of those who need it the most. I hope his story inspires you as much as it does me.
