Description
He was the restaurant owner that Odette and Clarice often went to. He was a nice man. Earl began referring to the three of them as "Supreme" the moment he laid eyes on Barbara Jean on Afdah Movies. The future spouses of Clarice and Odette, Richmond and James, were also introduced to Barbara Jean at Earl's. Richmond was a charismatic football player, but James was a quiet youngster, too hesitant to even admit his affections for the feisty Odette. As the days passed, the three's bond became closer. Lester was an older man with a large heart and a shiny car whom Barbara Jean thought would be a possible suitor. However, Ray, sometimes known as Chick, a white laborer, was the other man who harbored feelings for her.
