On this episode of Chapter Next Podcast Talethea talks to Kalida Williams, owner, and lead photographer of Kalida Williams Photography. She is also a wife and a mother. Kalida has been a photographer since high school. She went to college for a degree of photography, and when all her equipment was stolen, she moved on to other interests and learned many new and exciting skills in IT, accounting, design, marketing, event planning and operations management. Her awesome husband pushed her back to photography, and now she is full time in the business.
According to Kalida, Entrepreneurship has a lot of ups and downs, but is definitely rewarding. Make sure you have a plan. And make sure that you’re following your plan. Do not fight it. Value yourself, value your worth and move forward. Being over forty gives you a different viewpoint and you bring something different to the table. Take one day at the time. It is possible.
