The Government says it is reported the Spanish authorities will not apply the EES at the Gibraltar Spain border. It adds the intention – in line with treaty negotiations – is to not have EES applied at the border now or at any point in the future. However, it suggests the public makes itself familiar with those countries using it when travelling, as the Deputy Chief Minister Joseph Garcia explained.
