Nelms, a first-year head coach with the Senators, coached under Mays for the last three seasons with the Tigers, adding a unique layer to The Rivalry this season. Mays, who enters his fifth year in charge of the Tigers, anticipates the Tigers being a tough out in Class 5A this fall.
