In episode 11, I interview Emefa Boamah, a multi-certified women’s life and business coach with a focus on healing and leading through embodiment. She also does preparation and integration work for an amazing organization called Illuminating Heros, (previously Heroic Path to Light) which helps veterans and their families heal through working with psychedelics. At her core, she is a medicine woman and priestess hailing from the Ewe Tribe of Ghana. Emefa draws upon her Ghanian lineage, her personal experience as a trauma survivor, and professional training in her work as an embodiment coach. 

Emefa shares how a near death experience following Covid and working with psychedelics have played pivotal roles in her personal and professional journeys. We also touch on the importance of minority voices in the psychedelic space.
