In episode 13, I interview Ally Barrett, a local woman who I initially met at our first Psychedelic Sunday meetup. We were all sharing our “psychedelic stories” and hers really intrigued me because she attributes her ability to heal from neurologic lyme disease, at least in part, to working with psilocybin mushrooms.
Interestingly, Johns Hopkins is currently enrolling by invitation for a study to look at whether psilocybin is helpful in alleviating the burden of ongoing symptoms in individuals with neurologic Lyme disease. You can learn more about it at clinicaltrials.gov.
