Description

I have all my life tried to figure out how to be better at who I’m supposed to be, how to achieve what I’m supposed to achieve. I didn’t have anybody to teach me, and those people that were teaching me I didn’t realize that they were teaching me.

Over the years have studied and hit my head against the cement floor and I’ve come up with what I call a spiritual discipline. There are eight things that I do to get what I want in life when I don’t do any of one of these things, it throws me off, but I finally found the eight things that done together as a system as a process helps me to create everything that I want.

Everything that I need and gets me into the place where I’m supposed to be in terms of living and creating the life that I want to have. I’ve done it many times and I didn’t realize I was doing it at the time.

I would do some of it. Then I would do other parts of it and I couldn’t figure out why things weren’t working the way they were supposed to work, and it’s a lot of back and forth that I have done trying to figure it out.

And then it dawned on me I need to create a system.

And these are the things that I was doing that helped me get to where I was all those times that I reached all my goals. I was doing these eight things.

Let me tell you briefly about it all starts with me would study as a Christian. Always start with the word of God. Everything that you can think of that pertains to your life in the word of God, even if it’s not mentioned Eric directly. If you’re reading the word or if you’re listening to it, you’re going to find the answer to every issue that you have in your life.

So I study the Bible and read the Bible. I scour the Bible or research the Bible and I find what it is I’m looking for, then to amplify the study that I’ve done. I do research outside of the Bible, research books, situations, circumstances as an example when I wanted to find out about lust, I went through the Bible and I found all of the words the Greek and Hebrew that the Bible mentions.

As lust and then from there I read through and I found two or three scriptures that we call revelation that spoke directly to me, and from those three scriptures, I delve deeper into it. I would get the revelation from the Rhema, meaning I would get a word and understanding that hit close to my heart that it was like, Oh yeah, that’s the one I’ve been looking for. That’s exactly what’s happening to me. That’s why this is happening. That’s how to get to that destination.

So I study and then after I study, I meditate.

I am literally meditating.

And no.

As a Christian, you know a lot of US Christians we stray away from meditation, but the word talks about meditation early in the beginning of the book, over in Joshua 17 and eight this book, it allows, should not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, and you shall make your way prosperous, and you shall have good success.

Meditation is something that we’re supposed to do now. I personally believe that there’s some value in meditation where you sit and you breathe deeply. You know five times and clear your mind.

Just calm down what’s happening, your soul calms down in the body released anxiety, the anxiousness, the stress there’s a lot of benefit in doing that. Breathwork is very important because a lot of times we don’t breathe correctly and we’re stopping our breath and that stops the energy and the oxygen to your brain and so you don’t think correctly. So when you’re anxious, Sir when you’re afraid you know you are holding your breath and you’re not thinking correctly.

So doing that breathwork that setting yourself up to meditate is very important because what it does it cultivates the field for the meditation of thinking and pondering over what it is that you’re supposed to be meditating on. So, for instance, Deuteronomy 818 says, remember the Lord that God he is the one who gives you the power to get wealth. When I studied and meditated the Word the word “get” means to amass, to accumulate, to heap up, and the word power.

Coincides with dunamis. It means ability. Supernatural ability is also the ability that’s innate in each person. Each person has their own gift, and that’s their power in essence.

So you may have a gift of cooking. You may have a gift of communication. You may have a physical gift. You may have gift of intellect. You may have a gift with mathematics. You may have a gift of doing her.

Everybody has at least one gift and most of us have more than one and we also have skills, so those gifts he gives you the power to get wealth right, the ability and so it can either be a gift or skill or talent, but you have the ability to amass to accumulate, to heap up wealth. So are meditating on that and once you get to the place where it’s like, Oh yeah, I got that. I have ability.

That I don’t have to look outside of myself for I don’t have to depend on somebody else to provide something for me. I have the ability ’cause God gave it to me and he told me to remember that he gave me the ability. That’s not something that you know that I developed on my own. He created it and put it inside of me. He gave it to me and when I used it correctly, when I developed it correctly, when I understand it.

I can amass, accumulate, keep up well for myself.

OK, so we’re meditating visualization for me. I’m a visual person, so when I think I think in pictures, I don’t necessarily think in words.

And so the word says, as a man thinks, so easy. And so as I’m reading this scripture, I’m like, OK.

I don’t think in words. I think in pictures, so I’m actually visualizing it so I’m sitting here and I’m thinking about something. Alright, so I’m thinking about Deuteronomy 818. God gives me the power to get wealth simultaneously while I’m meditating on it. Because you can’t do one without the other, you have to be able to think to meditate, and when you’re meditating you’re thinking. And when you’re thinking you’re visualizing because you’re seeing it, OK.

I’m thinking about the power, the ability that God gave me to amass, to create, to accumulate, to get wealth.

And whatever that is for me, I’m seeing that. And there are many different ways to do visualizations. I’ve talked about visualization before.

Sitting quietly, that’s where that deep breath work comes so that you are clearing the anxiety away. You’re moving the anxiety out of your body. You’re releasing the tension, the frustration, the fear, the exhaustion, the stress from your body by breathing deeply at least 5 deep breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth.

In through your nose, out through your mouth.

So we’re doing that. We’re getting ourselves prepared and with visualizing it, we’re seeing ourselves doing our gift, our power, our ability, our talent, our skill that God gave us that we developed to get wealth.

And so we’re singing it.

I remember we studied it. We started to meditate it. We got our revelation in our Rema.

Then we start to visualize it.

And part of meditating is to mutter is to say.

So I’m saying as I’ve said before, God gives me the power to get wealth.

Examples I weigh 140 pounds by Thanksgiving 2021.

Another example, I am in a wonderful relationship with the person that I love my spouse.

I have a great relationship with my parents.

Whatever it is that you can think of, whatever it is that you want, you’re saying what it is that you meditated and studied.

And then the next thing.

His journaling there’s something about.

When you take a piece of paper, a physical piece of paper where there be a single sheet of paper or journal, a notebook back of an envelope.

And you take a writing, a physical writing instrument like a pen and pencil crayon, and you start to write this term that I learned called mental plaque. And when you first start to write, there’s just all this stuff that’s jumbled up inside of your mind. And so you just keep writing just whatever is happening. Don’t edit it, don’t judge it just right.

What you’re doing is similar to the breathwork do we talked about where you’re getting rid of the anxiety, the fear and stress when you start journaling and you start writing? Initially, you’re getting rid of all the cobwebs, all the confusion of the muck that is all the disorganization that’s happening in your brain.

And somewhere around the middle to the end of when you’re journaling your thoughts start to become cohesive. They become organized. They start to become rational, where you understand what’s happening.

And you can do a freestyle journal and just continue to write what it is that you’re feeling or thinking, or there’s something additional that you could do in terms of asking yourself some prompt questions.

What am I feeling?

What am I thinking?

Why am I thinking this?

What’s the reason? How will this be beneficial to me?

You know, whatever it is that you’re trying to accomplish, those are the types of questions that you could ask yourself.

Now the next thing you want to move into is gratitude.

Gratitude is something that is amazing. There was a time when the only thing that I could be grateful for was I had some ice cubes in my refrigerator. I know that’s crazy, but that was my reality. I’d could not think of anything else that I could be grateful for. It was the only thing that I had going for me at that particular time.

And I tell you what I stirred myself up, and I became so grateful that I had a refrigerator that made ice cubes. That was full. The filter was clean, I could use them. It was burning up hot outside and I had something to refresh me.

So you can take something as seemingly insignificant a
